Blockchain
Smartivative is powered by Blockchain, the technology that is revolutionizing finance.
Blockchain will make B2B financial transactions more transparent, verifiable, and regulatory compliant.

Smart Contracts
Smart Contracts are capable of managing the legal and financial lifecycle of an OTC Derivative.
A smart contract is a self-executing contract with the terms of the agreement between the parties being directly written into lines of code.
The code controls the execution, and transactions are trackable and irreversible.
Smartivative implements smart contracts on Ethereum. It can operate on other public or private blockchains.
Smartivative uses
Smart Contracts with Oracles
Smart contracts can't access off-chain (real world) data on their own.
The primary function of oracles is to provide secure and trustworthy data to a Blockchain. Smart contracts then look at this data to see if it meets the conditions defined in the code and, if this is the case, the contract automatically executes.
Building a truly valuable smart contract requires the use of multiple inputs to prove contractual performance, as well as multiple outputs to affect outside systems and/or send payment to complete Smartivative smart contracts.
Smartivative uses oracles to get access to real world data such as:
- Prices & quotes
- Payments
- Margin calls
