Our Story
- 2013 - In its embryonic state, Superflat is born as Medigest division and wins its first Innosuisse grant as a project aimed at implementing a software able to log OTC Derivatives through a Visual Interface and automatically provide pricing and risk metrics.
- 2015 - Superflat starts its business activity as a division of Medigest.
- 2018 - The Superflat project is awarded a second Innosuisse grant to enhance the management of OTC Derivatives through the addition of a legal management component.
- 2019 - Medigest officially spins off the project, which opens it to new sources of financing and operational partners, resulting in the establishment of Superflat SA and its Smartivative product.
The Company
Superflat SA is a Swiss Fintech company (CHE-375.332.433), a spin off of Medigest SA, a financial intermediary member of the Organismo di Autodisciplina dei Fiduciari del Cantone Ticino (OAD FCT), a self-regulatory Board of Trustees of the Canton of Ticino, and is supervised by the Fiduciarie Finanziarie cantonal supervisory authority. After several years of research and development, input from local academia, and with the financial support of Innosuisse (Swiss Innovation Agency), Superflat now offers advanced services designed to generate significant savings in terms of operations, costs, back office automation and transparency for parties involved in financial transactions.

Degree in Physics, MBA. Assistant professor at LUISS and CTU. 15+ years of experience in the financial industry and FinTech entrepreneur. Specialized in quantitative analysis, pricing of derivatives, machine learning and Asset Allocation models.
Filippo De Jorio
Founding Partner
President of Medigest SA since 2000. 30 years’ experience in financial advisory, trading, structured products, project planning & management, business consulting in governance and M&A processes.
Brunello Pianca
Founding Partner
President of StudioPhi SA, co-founder of BrightNode and Quadrans Foundation. Degree in Political Science. 30+ years in Asset management, private equity and VC. Advisor of international institutional bodies. Investor and serial entrepreneur focusing on FinTech.
Giacomo Poretti
Professor at SUPSI and Entrepreneur
Lecturer and senior researcher, graduate in engineering from ETHZ, responsible for Technology Transfer at SUPSI and project leader of R&D Innosuisse-funded projects related to blockchain and FinTech. President of Ticino Blockchain Association.
